A little bit of comfort?

and this last paragraph is comforting ...

As unpleasant as morning sickness can be, it is often a good sign, as it means that the baby and its surrounding environment are developing well.

echoes what my big boss told me yesterday ... to which i just gave her a tsked tsked face .. haha

One of those days again

One of those days … again …

I dun feel good sitting, standing, lying or whatever …

Argh … this is so frustrating …

My lips are cracking due to a reduced intake of water …

And the puke is stuck somewhere inside, refusing to come out …

food (un)glorious food

Hmm, the initial ‘joy’ of being able to eat all that I want is turning into not so great a joy …

Gradually, my body is making changes … after each meal, i would either begin to feel sleepy and in a desparate need to sleep … if not, my stomach would be over taken by the queasy feeling and soon, I feel like puking … I try to make loud burping sound – to force out the extra air in my stomach …that relieves me for a while but it won’t be long before the puk-y feeling comes again …

Nothing I eat can seem permanently to relieve this yucky feeling … =(

And the feeling only get worst at night … and by night time, I would feel cold and tired and hungry and all the more puky … thankfully, I have my mama’s hot soup to tide me over at night … the warm soup can help to soothe the uneasy stomach and help me get to sleep – all wrapped in blankie and shawl … and I am really thankful that sleep is the only relief for me …

it's 4w1d old ... your edd - 11.07.08 ...

this was what the gynae said ...

we asked, can it be due on 15.07.08? then the bb will share the same bdae with mummy ...

doc says, dun ask me ... tell the one inside ...

ha ha

it's a nice feeling - being pregnant ... but life is certainly changing ... at least in terms of food ...

instead of taking 3 meals, i am taking more food.... there is the constant feeling of being hungry at every other hour - according to the doc, it's normal...

The Sign

The joy and the suspense …

That’s what we felt …

When the sign shows positive …

At first we did not dare to believe …

I said, let’s try again tomorrow morning …

The next day, dearie was still in bed …

I went ahead to try …

Guess my movement woke him up coz he came in shortly after to see the results …

It’s positive ….

Better not take chance, let’s go and see the gynae …

At the clinic, we waited for our turn or rather, we waited for my bladder to be full so that the doc can do a scan …

Nothing … cant see anything … maybe it is still in its early stage …

Took some blood from me to test … will know the results either in the afternoon or the next day …

Tested again … bought the cheapest … but this time, results is not so clear …

Dearie wants to know … so he bought the digital one for me to test … and yes .. the sign says “pregnant” …


p.s we spent a bomb just doing the testing, affirming and testing alone … ha ha ha
